Hosted by the Jordanian Swedish Chess Academy, the festival features multiple tournaments across all skill levels — from FIDE-rated standard events to blitz, bullet, and family tournaments.

Tournament Categories

  • Standard Open — FIDE-Swiss format, open to all. Free entry for GMs, WGMs, IMs & WIMs.
  • Under 1800 — 6-round FIDE-Swiss for players rated below 1800 ELO.
  • Rapid Open & Rapid Women — Time control: 10 min + 3 sec/move.
  • Blitz & Bullet Open — Fast-paced action with deep prize pools.
  • Family & Amateur Tournaments — Fun, unrated events for parent-child or sibling teams.

Fees & Registration

Standard entry fees range from 444 SEK to 1,111 SEK depending on age, title, and registration date. Pre-register before June 25 to receive an early-bird discount. Register online via the Swedish Chess Federation (Sveriges Schackförbund).

JSCA Rapid & Blitz — Stockholm
